This sweet YELLOW + GREY ELEPHANT THEMED BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by Kirsten Russell of Tre’ Tulle . Oh my goodness, this party is too cute and could easily work for a girl or boy with its gender neutral color palette! It also has so many other little details that I just adore! From the fabulous garland and bunting to the adorable cake and sweets! This party has so many really cute ideas that would be perfect for either a birthday party or baby shower!
My favorite Yellow + Grey Elephant party ideas and elements from this precious first birthday celebration are:
The darling chevron and polka dot cake with an elephant on top The cute drinking glasses wrapped in yellow and grey bakers twine and adorned with an elephant charm The cute ruffled grey garland table skirt The darling favor sacks The cute dessert labels and tags The cute drink bottles adorned in washi tape and bakers twine The cute plush chevron elephant and MORE!
Yellow and Grey Elephant Party Details: This is what Kirsten said about planning/styling the party- “I have always loved the colour combination of yellow and grey, and despite my eldest daughter (5) telling me these were ‘boy’s colours’, I thought I would put these together using chevron patterns and elephants to create and style my daughter Ashlyn’s 1st birthday. I enlisted the talented ‘Paper Blossom Creations’ to create all the printables, including tent cards for the lolly buffet, backdrop, choc bar wrappers and ‘Pin the trunk on the elephant’ game. The AMAZING ‘I Luv Cake’ created the most magnificent cake I have ever seen, using this colour combination perfectly! The candy buffet table was decorated using a beautiful grey ruffled tablecloth I purchased from “Memories are Sweet”. I made my own balloon tassel tails and attached them to 2 jumbo balloons that were used at each end of the buffet table. These matched the beautiful tissue paper tassel garland in grey & white from Bickiboo that was used to decorate the drink station. All props are my own (‘Tre Tulle’). Macarons from Macaron Mayhem matched in with the colour theme. The games included “Pin the Trunk on the Elephant” and having the children push peanuts across the floor to a finish line, using only their noses! I found a beautiful little stuffed elephant at a local newsagent, that coincidentally was yellow, grey and chevron, and also dressed the birthday girl in a cute outfit that matched in with the party theme and colours”.
