This is what Melinda shared about the party- “As a party planner there are a few themes I wish for, and a Woodlands themed party is one of them. I couldn’t wait to get started on the prep. The mommy and I worked close together, which I always like. To start, I made a few suggestions and used my creative licence once or twice, but other than that she knew exactly what she wanted. I loved the little gift bags, with a thank you tag and finished off with a twig, and the backdrop for me was the piece de resistance. I handmade the little animal heads as well as the hoops – just wire with raffia wrapped around it. The baked goods from Chiara at Serendipity Cakes tasted as good as they looked. Don’t you love the little meringue hedgehogs, the moss covered donuts, the fudge tree bark, the cupcakes with moss and toadstools?
