Susanne said this about planning the party- “For my daughter’s 8th birthday, we went with a woodland theme. We chose pink and brown as the main colors. I had a lot of fun making the cake (and working with fondant for the first time!). For the party favors, each girl took home a journal and twig pencil as well as a home made sleeping mask featuring different woodland animals. Activities included painting bird houses and playing “cocoon wrap”, which was my daughter’s woodland version of the Halloween game, “mummy wrap”. The treat table included fruity fairy wands, meringue mushrooms, toadstool cupcakes, squirrel mix, acorn cookies, wafer sticks, and hedgehog doughnuts.” Photography- Susanne Ashby Photography Party tags/printables- Jill Means of Brightside Prints Items used in this party available in Kara’s Party Ideas Shop:CandlesBurlapWhite Paper DoiliesJute Twine
