On August 16th, Party City and Warner Bros. Consumer Products celebrated Scooby-Doo’s birthday and the release of Party City’s new line of Scooby-Doo party tableware!
Party City and Warner Bros. Consumer Products celebrated this milestone with a “Scooby-Doo Birthday Bash” – a fun-filled event including games, activities, giveaways and more to commemorate the special day! The party included an appearance from Scooby-Doo himself and 500 of his closest friends! Scooby took photos with event attendees, along with The Mystery Machine, the authentic prop vehicle that was parked on-site for photo opportunities.
The Scooby-Doo Birthday Bash was a day filled with family fun, including:
The Mystery Machine inflatable jumper Face painting station where guests got their favorite designs painted on their face Arts and Crafts table where kids of all ages could build their own Scooby-Doo party invitations Cupcake tents which featured several local bakeries, showcasing Scooby-inspired cakes and cupcakes Scavenger hunt featuring Scooby-Doo Party City products with Zappar Augmented Reality: Kids went searching for specific Party City products throughout the space that included the Zappar codes. Once they found the product they scan for the Augmented Reality animations and see their favorite Scooby characters come to life! Branded Scooby-Doo Cornhole game Zoinks Points iPad station with Scooby-Doo online game Scooby’s favorite snack, hot dogs! Attendees could receive a ticket for a free hot dog simply by posting a photo on their social media platform of choice with the hashtag #ScoobyParty
