This awesome VINTAGE SUPERHERO BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by Jenifer Hill of Hello Love Designs. What a fun party for a little boy! This cute celebration is full of many awesome ideas. Some of my favorite elements are:
The wooden pallets The Happy Birthday banner The push up pops The striped straws with “superpower” labels The drinks The take-out boxes and MORE!
Jenifer said this about planning the party- “The Superhero Party was a styled photo shoot for my new Superhero Printable Party Collection. I wanted the party to have a back alley look to it as if the superheroes gathered in a top secret location to party. I scoped out our area and found a red brick building with a side parking lot which fit the bill perfectly. I used shipping pallets as the serving table to complete the back alley party. Besides the shipping pallets, which I love, one of my favorite style elements are the Lifesavers bordering the bottom edge of the cake because superheroes are lifesavers, right?! Also, the desk lamp “spotlight” and the vintage Batman poster made it an official superhero party. Sub sandwiches or “heroes” were served individually in take-out boxes from Garnish. Each kind of sandwich was named appropriately. The peanut butter and jelly, of course, became The Batman & Robin. The Superman sub was turkey and cheese — a play on Superman’s duality. Finally, there was The Incredible, which was none other than a meatball sub. For the drinks, the straw flags were labeled with various superpowers so that the party guests could “pick their superpower.” Ideally, the superpower then takes over when guzzling down the ‘fizz’ ‘pop’ through a straw. We made popcorn ‘super’ by adding chocolate candies and serving in a push pop(corn) container. The favor bags were tied shut with baker’s twine and “top secret” favor tags. All of the party ideas were simple but super doable and super fun! Jennifer Schattle Photography did the rest to capture the top secret details.”
