The new obsession… DRAGONS
Our boy Luka turns FOUR! It was DIY madness! We had so much fun creating all sorts for his party. Invites, games … even Dragon Powers! DIY Dragon Scale Invites using colour swatch cards from the hardware store! Our Party colours were inspired by 5x beautiful Dragons which Luka received as gifts from family members. They became part of the party set up. Such beautiful majestic looking creatures

FIRE cupcakes with FLAME toppers made by Kylie from Khaos Cakery THE GUARDIAN DRAGON – The Protector, from Mummy, Daddy & Hazel. This armoured dragon was watching over our ‘Diamonds’, Blue Dragon ‘Eggs’ and Dragon Cookies! Those Cookies!! In shades of shimmering blue looked and tasted amazing. Lukas Dragon Cake by the lovely Melissa Karaka Kitchen Chocolate Mudcake with Chocolate Ganache and Rasberry Compote My mouth is watering all over again describing this delicious cake to you all! The rasberry is that wonderful sweet sour surprise in between all the chocolaty goodness. EVERYONE was impressed! Thank you Melissa! seriously good!

The Feast … Guarded by the Dragon of Steel, from Kulu (granny) This dragon is a leader… strong and assertive, grumpy and clever. It has the power of Magic. Our feast was put together by my lovely sister Charlotte! What would I have done without you!!!? We used our Partini Cake Table with Natural Wood Legs, Grass Placemats and various platters and boards trying to keep things looking earthy. DIY Golden Goblets to hold the straws, amazing decal eyes on our bottles by @decald_design And WATER … to wash it all down I think the kids were happy

Fill your bag with Dragon Treasure Usually I’d design & print something, but a workshop by the talented @thepapergazelle inspired this chalk board sign … it’s not perfect but its handmade DIY goodness Our Favour Table which became an activity in itself … Lukas little friends could fill their bags with their choice of Dragon Treasure!
ACTIVITIES AND GAMES
SHIELDS DIY Viking Shields! Luka LOVED making these! We premade the basic shield for each guest and had gems and stickers on a craft table at the party for decorating. There were lots of gems and stickers left over… fighting dragons was way more important than decorating shields ♀️ And yes…. daddy @dowlingsean was very helpful collecting the @estrelladamm bottle tops for us ⭐ Pinterest was our inspiration!

Decals Decals Decals! I’ve never used or applied decals before and I think I’m Hooked! This matching set from @decald_design was perfect EYES EVERYWHERE! We got our HUGE Black Helium Balloon from Shirline Gem Balloons and the very cool EYE decal from Rox @decald_design both AMAZING beautiful humans thanks ladies! The tableware! Just as amazing from @missmouseltd
