Very Hungry Caterpillar Party Details: This is what Shana said about styling the party- “This was for my son’s 2nd birthday. At a normal party I always put all the beautifully displayed treats and snacks out of reach of little hands but not this time! The party was set in my son’s favorite place, his playroom. It was the perfect setting for this bright colorful party! I put all of the treats within reach of all those sweet tiny hands. Because most of the party snacks were fruits, veggies and other healthy snacks, I felt good about letting them have all they could fit in their little hands! One of my favorite things from this party was the placemats. Like most two year olds, my son and his pals had a great time finding and identifying all of the objects from the Very Hungry Caterpillar book on their own placemat! The menu consisted of all of the things that the Hungry Caterpillar ate in the story, and were labeled with menu cards for each day of the week that he ate each snack. On the dessert table I put a 5×7 sign of all of the treats he are on "Saturday" from lollipops to cake, we had it all! Each of our visitors left with several favors – customized bubble containers, a bag of "Caterpillar food" (runts), and "Caterpillar Cocoons" (plastic tubes with all green gumballs and one red one on top).
