Two-A-Saurus Dinosaur Garden Party Details: This is what Jessica said about planning/styling the party- I wanted to have a modern, inviting Dino Party, and started off with the color palette of Black and White. I then added some bright colors to make it more kid friendly. Bright Yellow, Blue, Green, and Pink were mainly used to create a friendly atmosphere for both the boys and girls at the party. The structured color pallete of black and white with pops of color made the party whole stand out against our lush home garden. I was able to find an awesome watercolor painting by ELFSHOPPE on Etsy, which I emulated both for my online invite and also my cake table backdrop, which I ended up painting myself with Acrylic paint. The Cake Table also featured a multi-shaded yellow balloon drape, which I managed to make with chicken wire, tape and glue dots. I hand printed dino footprints on plain white tablecloth, to include some more Black and White and enable the colors to pop. Black accessories for cake stand and dessert stands allowed the colorful desserts to display prominently. Spray-painted Dollar Store dinos with different types of ferns, gave it a finishing touch.
