I’m so excited to share my latest bridal shower with you. I am in love with deer, and wanted to style a bridal shower around them…so I came up with the theme, THE DOE IS SAYING I DO! I didn’t want the shower to be rustic and woodsy this time, though…so I went with the color scheme of gold and pink, with glitter accents. I absolutely love how the party turned out. It was just what I envisioned. I hope you enjoy and get some ideas for your next bridal shower or bachelorette party! A lot of the party elements could be used for a birthday party, too! I taped off glass milk bottles from the shop and spray painted the bottom section with gold spray paint for vases.
The gorgeous cake was made by Jennifer Hanna of Sweeten Your Day. I placed a deer on top of the cake, which was painted and glittered :).
I made the dessert toppers out of gold fringe and ribbon.
I used my small linen bags from the shop for candy bags. I covered the bottom section of the bags with simple elmers glue then sprinkled gold glitter onto the glue!
I used mini parfait glasses from Kara’s Party Shop for pudding.
I spray painted the outside of mason jar lids with gold spray paint. I also painted miniature deer with the same paint and glued them onto the top of the little dessert jars.
Woven ribbon is the perfect way to dress up any table. So elegant and pretty!

A painted standing frame from the shop was used on the accent table.
I filled clear balloons with gold confetti before blowing them up with helium. So pretty!
Pink paper straws from Kara’s Party Shop were accented with gold arrow pieces cut from gold craft paper.
I sprinkled edible gold shimmer powder onto the tops of the parfaits.
I took regular wine glasses and dressed them up with glitter. The glitter is washable…yes, I said washable! I simply painted mod podge onto the bottom sections of the glasses then sprinkled on gold glitter. To remove the glitter place glass in warm water for about 5 minutes.
