Summer Boho Party Details: This is what Anna said about planning/styling the party- In choosing a New Year’s Eve party theme I wanted to reflect the beauty of our lengthy, sunshine filled summer days we have here in Australia at this time of year. With this in mind I chose bright, almost neon colours, inspired by some muticoloured feathers I found on sale from The Little Big Company. I wanted the party to have a unique boho feel, using different textured feathers, crochet buntings and trims. I put them onto the cake stands, the chalkboard sign and even on the Tim Tam pops. I also incorporated some fabulous neon deer I found at a Christmas sale in a local supermarket. The menu included Nutella cheesecake Mousse pots, vanilla cupcakes and a six tier chocolate cake with a lovely topper from Small Favours. For weeks beforehand I enlisted my children in helping to decorate tags for the mason drinking jars. I used coloured string, washi tape, paper roses, more feathers and name tags.
