Shabby Chic Cowgirl Party Details:This is what Anne-Marie said about planning/styling the party- “As I was prepping a cowgirl themed party for my client, my 3 year old daughter kept repeating how she wanted a Cowgirl 4th birthday party, too. She was enamored by all the pink girly details and the cowgirl boot centerpiece. When my clients outdoor party was compromised because of a torrential storm that hit it, I knew this was a sign! I couldn’t let the countless hours spent on planning the decor go to waste so I decided to put my efforts into planning the same theme for my daughter. My goal was to make it as authentically farm chic as possible. Nothing screams cowgirl more than hay, peanuts, silver watering cans, checkered linens, cowgirl hats, and handkerchiefs so I used these elements throughout the decor. I made the apple pie baked apples using this recipe. My guests loved them! A DIY project that was simple and creative were the Mason jars fork and knife dispensers. What you’ll need: Mason jars Small bottle acrylic paint. – you need less than you think. Pink and white gingham ribbon Jute Twine Small glue dots Flowers I had mason jars in my pantry. and bought some acrylic paint and small paint brush at hobby lobby. I bought the chalkboard sticker labels and the small paper flowers at Michaels. I painted it 3 coats and waited for the paint to dry completely between coats. Once dry, I added the ribbon and twine to lid with glue dots. Then I added the flowers to ribbon and wrapped twine around flowers. Then I centered the chalkboard stickers and labeled it with chalk that my daughter had stashed in her playroom. It was inexpensive, quick, and a fun craft for my daughter to help out with”.
