Rocket Ship Party Details: This is what Stefanie of Orange Blossom Special Events, the party planner said about styling the party- “Having a space-obsessed son made choosing his rocketship themed party a breeze. We couldn’t help ourselves but to include space themed decor at every turn. As kids arrived they were directed to grab their very own jet-packs, which we made from empty water bottles, duct tape, and tissue paper. ‘Planet’ pops, tangerines with Saturn’s rings, moon-landing dioramas, and robo-Krispies helped carry the theme through the dessert table, which was backed with silver streamers and a “Blast Off to 4″ banner by twopoochpaperie on Etsy. Empty baby food jars full of rocket crackers and star cookies were also a big hit with the kids. The venue, ReDiscover Center in Los Angeles, uses recycled materials for art projects, and had the kids enthralled with the task of building their own rocketships out of the wide range of materials they had available.
