Rainbows and Unicorns Party Details: This is what Nathalie said about planning the party- “I live in New York but I was born and raised in Lima, Peru. We wanted to travel to Lima to celebrate my daughter’s birthday with all my family and friends. My daughter wanted a Princess Celestia party (from My Little Pony) so I made it a unicorn and rainbows party since I didn’t want to have any licensed characters. I tried to take the most I could from the US such as all the candy, decorated cookies, cakepops, unicorn centerpieces, and everything else I could fit in a suitcase. I recruited the help of Tatiana from Vintage Deco Studio to setup the candy bar and styling of the party. They have the cutest beverage station setup and it was the perfect touch. I included some traditional Peruvian Desserts such as mousse de lucuma, alfajores, mazamorra morada and the kids drank chicha morada (purple corn drink). We also had a popcorn cart and gave rainbow tutus and wands for the girls and rainbow stove pipe hats for the boys. For entertainment we had a balloon artist, face painting station and a beautiful show by Circo Magico Peru”.
