This is what Julie shared about the party- “Elmer the Elephant is a sweet children’s book with an amazing message of self-acceptance. I was thrilled to collaborate with Caroline & Weston’s mommy on this joint 4th and 1st birthday party! The backdrop for our dessert table highlighted Elmer himself on a 3D, custom wooden backdrop. For added color and height, we added 2, 36″ balloons with custom colorful tissue tassels. Doubling as decor and a party activity was this amazing, over-sized Elmer pinata! I mean….isn’t he just amazing!?! To bring the Elmer patchwork coloring to the front of our dessert table, we draped a simple “Happy Birthday” banner with the patchwork design around the edges. We set up with guest tables and draped them with burlap linen and a colorful, custom made pom-pom runner. Colorful 5 foot, 36″ balloons with colorful tissue tassels served as centerpieces. We set up a cool party! Entertainment for the guests included a colorful photo booth. Elmer hat props flanked the booth. For the littles, a table full of DIY plush elephants and an assortment of colorful fabric markers awaited them. These little elephants were not only fun to color, but a great take-home item”.
