I created an entire DIY Party Package of printables for this adorable party. By pairing Candy Land with bright chevron prints, I updated the classic childhood game with a modern design obsession of mine…chevron! The kids loved the candy station we had set up with make-your-own fruit loop necklaces, ice cream cone blowing bubbles, and a Guess How Many candy jar. The goodie bag favors were a hit as well, allowing the kids to not only take some classic candy home…but they received their own pocket size miniature Candy Land travel board game, complete with cards and gingerbread men. The birthday girl was all show when she came to the door dressed to greet her guests…in a custom made Candy Land outfit, made by her Nana, with love. The fabric was purchased at a local craft store and looked perfect with the birthday girl’s fruit loop necklace.
