Puppies and Sprinkles Birthday Party Details:
This is what Kristal shared about styling the party- “This year, our oldest daughter, Arden Rose, was set on having a puppy party for her third birthday. To keep it girly, I added confetti and sprinkles to the party theme. It was so fun! A friend of mine, Jennifer with Calavera Cakery, is one of the best cake designers in our area, and I traded some rentals from my rental company with her for a cake and Y’ALL… she showed up with the most amazing cake ever, including a puppy on top that looked just like our weenie dog, Millie! It was beyond perfect! I also made ‘pup’corn (popcorn covered in almond bark and sprinkles), Rice Krispie bones, and weenie dog sugar cookies made my my mom. For the kiddos, we had a weenie dog balloon station (thanks to our friends Ben and Kimberly who are talented balloon- animal-makers!), puppy face painting station , weenie dog (hot dog) bar, and the cutest little stuffed animal pups for adoption as a party favor from Oriental Trading. To keep the cost down, I made signs on foam board from The Dollar Tree with dab and dot markers, and used a combination of paper plates and balloons for decor. We had simple outdoor yard games and a bounce house ready for all the kiddos, too. My mom loves making Arden Rose’s birthday dresses each year, and this year she made the cutest skirt and bows filled with pom poms, and an adorable top made from custom weenie dog fabric she ordered on Spoonflower. For the adult tables, I made centerpieces out of shish kabob sticks and extra large pompoms, and wood letters that spelled YAY! On the kid tables, I placed party hats and party horns at each seat. Inexpensive, easy and fun! Our friends, Jill and Kay Photography, took these wonderful photos which we will treasure forever!” See all of our sprinkles parties here! Love Kara’s Party Ideas?
