Prince Themed Birthday Party
Robyn’s party description- “We created this custom party for a babys first birthday. His mom requested a Prince theme in silver and mint. green. We added touches of turquoise to compliment the soft green and silver decor. We started off with a handmade ribbon runner made from different widths of mint, turquoise and white ribbon. For the centerpiece, we glittered a large castle in silver and topped it with an ornate silver painted crown. On either side of the castle, we added 8 standing papier mache letters painted silver and topped with mint green chunky glitter. We placed letters on one side of the castle that spelled the childs name, and letters to the other side that spelled his age. Behind the letters we added vases of fresh white hydrangeas with white and pink peonies. The vases were wrapped in turquoise ribbon for a pop of color. On the ends of the table, we added silver candlesticks of varying height, in groups of three. Instead of candles, we sat mint silk flowers and silver crowns atop the candlesticks. We were lucky enough to find different styled crowns of the same size to add variety and interest to the table. Each childs place was set with matching mint green and white meri meri paper plates and napkins,. The plates sat on large silver chargers with beautiful 3D crowns covered in silver glitter. Glittered wooden utensils and silver painted goblets completed the place settings. Finally, large turquoise round balloons with mint green, turquoise white and silver tissue tassels flanked the silver Happy Birthday banner. We used a silver sequined tablecloth for the gift bag table where silver gift bags decorated with glittered crowns and filled with prince themed goodies waiting for the little ones to enjoy! There was also a dessert table with beautiful and delicious desserts that were color coordinated to the décor. Baked goods included a cake, cupcakes, candies, cake pops, macarons, and iced cookies. All baked goods were provided by Frau Schmidt Bakeries in Redondo Beach, CA.” Vendors: Party Planner: Robyn Rockwood, the COOP South Bay Photo Credit: Anita V Portraits Décor: Castle from Michaels Crafts Painted crowns: Ross Dress for Less Plates and napkins: Meri Meri Papier mache letters: Joann Fabrics Glittered crowns: Oriental Trading Co Find more prince themed party inspiration right here!
