I love how the simple elements of this party combine to make a fabulous 1st birthday party! With plenty of colorful garland, balloons, and a darling smash cake, this party is a hit! Some of my favorite ideas & elements from this event include:

Primary Color Ball Party Details:
This is what Joanna said about styling the party- “This wonderfully colorful 1st birthday was thrown in honor of a little guy that just loves playing in ball pits! His mother suggested using ball details and bright colors for a fun and festive party.
Absolutely everything was in theme! On the tables, we used circular blue runners since this is dad’s favorite color. We chose flowers that are circular in shape and placed custom colored streamer wands on the table for the guests to wave in the air during the ‘Happy Birthday” song.
The entire yard was encompassed by balloon clusters that included balloons with free floating confetti inside.
The adults appreciated the DRINKS DRINKS DRINKS setup and unique signage where they could find their cold refreshments.
Last but definitely not least was the dessert display! Playing off the circular shape of balls, the details seemed to be endless!
There were confetti streamers, gumballs, cupcakes with mini round sprinkles, cake pops and a HOORAY sign on a simply adorable smash cake.
If you look closely, you can see the birthday boy’s name hanging from the balloons along with a framed photo of his adorably sweet face.
Mommy, daddy and the rest of the celebrants all loved how this theme mirrored the birthday boy’s upbeat personality. They can’t wait for birthday #2!”
