“I love working on events and forming a working friendship and bond with clients that I then get to continually experience and be a part of special moments in their lives — from weddings, to babies, to everything in between and beyond worthy of celebration. It’s quite heartwarming to the children grow up over the years, some of which I’ve gotten to see their unique personalities blossom from toddlers to spirited kids nearing their double digits. It’s certainly a sweet thing and I love doing it, especially after such long pandemic months, It was such a pleasure working with the lovely Jessica again, this time for darling Luciana’s Christening. Jessica shared a few images of the flowers that caught her eye and the deckle edge stationery from the gorgeous selection of August and White that inspired the entire look for this celebration. Hints of boho pampas grasses, bunny tails and other dried stems with delicately pink and cream colored flowers, like the Quicksand rose which on its own makes everything feel a bit more romantic. Different gold and bronze taper holders were scattered amongst the guest tables, with varying shades of flickering rose colored candles. Blush pink cheesecloth linens were organically draped atop the tables, adding just the right amount of soft minimalism. Our cake table was that capturing moment before guests even walked in, thanks in part to the full sized glass windows that allowed not only the natural light and breeze to flow beautifully into the space — but it gave everyone a lovely view upon arriving to celebrate Luciana’s special day. We continued that minimalist romantic look by wrapping each lavender candle jar with a “Thank You” wax sealed deckle edge paper tag. I think these favors sum up the vision for this styling, okay maybe many more elements did as well, but arranged atop more flowing linen and a minimalist boho dried arrangement, it showcases how these simple details blend the vintage and modern together beautifully.
