“Every month here in Dallas we host our “Social Hour” which is a chance for people all around DFW to gather, meet new people, and participate in a fun activity! In honor of our newly launched balloon kits, this month’s activity was a balloon bar & class taught by our very-own balloon expert, so what better theme than “Poppin’ Off!” Obviously “Poppin’ Off” isn’t an actual theme, so we created our look using inspiration from the colorful balloon bar we’d have and combined it with a Y2K look we’ve been wanting to do for a while. If the pizza truck, balloon bar, marquee letters, and of course all the new friends weren’t enough, we even had a 26’ tall bounce castle that both the kids and adults were dying to get on too! One thing that was so important to us when creating this party was to make guests feel like there were balloons EVERYWHERE, so we designed our installations to look like they perfectly flowed together when guests walked in. The key to that was installing balloon garlands over the tables to make guests feel like balloons were absolutely everywhere they turned! Because there was so much going on at this party, we intentionally kept the tablescape simple with just basic place settings and some confetti lining the tables.
