PARTY DETAILS:
Here’s what Pippa said about the party– “My beautiful daughter turned 6 this month, and we decided on a fairy theme a few months ago. I had one goal – to make it the prettiest party I could possibly imagine! I loved the colours of pink and green, so fresh and pretty. When the girls arrived, they came into the fairy transformation station, were they had their face painted and recieved a handmade wand, skirt and wings. We then moved up to the craft area, where they painted fairy houses. While these were drying, the girls went on a fairy door hunt – 6 doors were hidden around our property, and each door had differently coloured stones by them – If they brought back all 6 stones, they recived a prize. After the hunt, they enjoyed some fairy food – This included donut hedgehogs, fairy wand cookies, pavlovas (a New Zealand dessert), cupcakes, owl cookies and of course, fairy bread! There were two food tables, one featured a wishing well and the other was an Owl themed table with a g orgeous owl vase as centrepiece. There was also a Edible fairy villiage for the girls to eat – Everything on the display was edible, and was very popular! The party table was set in our section, in between beautiful trees and bush – My husband had made mushroom seats for the girls and I created a beautiful table runner out of leaves which looked so lovely against the pink backdrop. The drinks table was a gorgeous vintage dresser that I had bought for my daughters birthday. After the food, the girls settled back down to make fairy gardens, using twigs, stones, shells and other nature items. This activity was a huge hit – the girls were so proud of their creations. Then we cut the cake – An amazing mushoom house with a gorgeous fairy perched on top. I loved this theme – A must have for all little girls!”
