Pink Carousel Party Details: This is what Alefiya said about planning and styling the party- “I knew Imans second birthday theme even before planning her first. I love carousels and luckily for me, she did too. It all started after seeing a fabulous Carousel Cake on Pintrest that I wanted to recreate in a toned down version suitable for a 2 year old. I had my colors set on pink, gold and ivory. But I also wanted to go a step further and make the carousel actually rotate! Lindsey Krist from the Smash Cakery was able to bring this to life, in a beautiful 2 tiered cake with a rotating carousel topper. The video and photos say it all! I invested in a Cricut machine that added a new layer to the party décor. I was able to cut glitter card stock to create 3D labels, straw toppers, banners and the glitter layers for the pop up card. Finding the horses was just luck and talking to many people. The horses came from 2 vendors and the gold horses were painted and decorated at home. Caroyln at Sweet Tea and Linen repainted her horses to fit my color theme, she also created the custom linen for the dessert table. The floral 2 was another highlight of the event. While I knew what I wanted I knew I needed the expertise of a florist like Glenwood Weber to help my vision come to life. After several meetings with him, and sourcing the flowers, he completely blew me away when he walked in the night before the party with the 2. It was jaw dropping.
