Pink + Gold 1st Birthday Party Details: This is what Catherine said about designing and styling the party- “This party was full of elegance, blooms, pearls, sparkle and lots of fun just like baby Shaeli personality. The day I met Shaeli I knew off the bat what I was going to do for her 1st birthday celebration- she instantly inspired me to go “Rustic Chic” We styled the kids table with so much elegance – fit for Shaeli’s event. We provided goodie boxes filled with treats; adorned with a ribbon and bow inspired by her “Ellen” dress from “Isabella Couture”. Florals were a must so we made sure we covered every part of her event with blooms – Shaeli loves flowers! We also took our kids seating very seriously. What’s a kids table without stylish seating right? We made sure we did things correctly so we went out of our way to incorporate kids farm chairs, perfect for this “chic” affair. I think we nailed it with this one. Moving forward to our dessert table, all treats placed on the table were all of Shaeli’s favorite – we made sure of that! Incorporated desserts were chocolate covered strawberries, cake pops, tres leches, cupcakes, sugar cookies, a treat tower that consisted of madeline cookies, macarons and vanilla waffles. YUM! Now what’s a party without a cake? Exactly! There must be a cake! I designed Shaeli a custom cake with the help of her mother and of course Laury from “There Should Always Be Cake”. Laury did an amazing job executing this design, when guests saw it, it was like love at first sight. A cake of three tiers with three different flavors; dulce de leche, passion fruit and creamy strawberry… Ah-Ma-Zing is all I have to say. Our backdrop for this chic affair was to die for! This is where the rustic part played it’s role. We custom made a blush washed wooden wall adorned with cascading silk flowers coming from the top. This definitely gave our dessert table a pop, not leaving out the two chandelier floor lamps placed on each side of the table. The fun began when the entertainers got there! They enjoyed balloon art; face painting; bubble fun and cotton candy as they enjoyed the rest of the show as the magician magically pulled out a live rabbit from his hat – Awesome! Dancing and Singing is how Shaeli and her friends ended her celebration. This was a party to remember and oh what a fabulous celebration is was. Last but not least, the favors! Handmade soy candles with an amazing scent from “The White House of Candles”. They were in gold tins and embellished with faux pearls on the lid – This detail made it extra gorgeous. Special thanks to all the vendors who made this affair a special one.”
