Pineapple Birthday Party
Pineapple Party Details: This is what Christina shared about styling the party- “My sister lives in Rio, so for her 25th birthday we decided on a « party like a pineapple » theme, inspired by all things tropical. The color palette for the party was set by the the vibrant and colorful tones of Brazil – green and yellow with touches of gold. Here are some effortless tips for planning the a perfect pineapple themed party! The DIY decor: We wanted a very relaxed and casual vibe, true to Brazilian style! So we set up a party table with a gorgeous but super easy to re-create balloon centerpiece. They balloon garland was adorned with mostera leaves and palm fronds. We used faux, but really great quality greenery that seemed almost real! This ensured the arrangement stayed looking “fresh” for longer and was great way to inject some instant color to the table without much effort. We used printable pineapple themed stationery throughout to decorate each table place-setting, and everyone fell in love with the cutest pineapple shaped favor boxes! We filled them with Brazilian toffee for guests to take home. Tropical Dinner Menu: We kept the menu simple and fresh, with lots of tropical flavors. For starters we made pineapple Caprese salad. It’s just like a regular Caprese, but we substituted the tomatoes for pineapples. We loved the sweet and refreshing switch-up to this dish! For the main we served a Brazilian shrimp stew with coconut milk known as ‘Bobo de Camarao’. Drinks & Desserts: Again true to the relaxed vibe of the party, we kept it super easy with a self-service desserts and drinks bar. It’s my favorite thing to do for a crowd because it leaves you free to enjoy the party and mingle, and the desserts display is the perfect backdrop for a fun party photo booth! Of course, it’s NOT a proper birthday party without a mandatory cocktail!! We served a tasty pineapple rum tropical sangria with slices of real fruit. All the guests had to do is fill their cute glasses! For sweet treats we had pineapple pina colada cupcakes, green tea and pineapple macarons, and a divine Brazilian tropical fruit salad with pineapple (of course), papaya and mangoes served in cute ice cream containers. These are super handy to serve and look totally adorable too! DIY Photo Booth: Doubling as photo booth props, we had more greenery and we also made some pineapple honeycomb party decorations to add a tropical touch to the room, the tables and lounge area.” What a fun and festive party! I love when something simple–this time the gorgeous pineapple–is used for for a fabulous party theme! Vintage Hawaiian Birthday Party Fun & Funky Llama 1st Birthday Party Love Kara’s Party Ideas?
