“This party was to celebrate the first birthday of our rainbow baby. After not being able to have a baby shower and then being home for most of his first year, we knew we wanted to have a big celebration when he turned one! Our sons name is West, so we decided each birthday would be double themed WEST WORLD plus whatever party theme we choose. This year was Peter Pan + Neverland. Captain Hook is my favorite villain, so that was a big motivation for the theme. I originally was searching for a party planner, but ultimately ended up realizing I could do it myself! I planned, crafted and learned new skills with wood and power tools, DIY’ing as much as I could. After booking props and hiring vendors, we had a great turn out!
