This is what Delia said about planning/styling the party- “Last year we created a dramatic “Sweetheart” dessert bar. It was sexy and romantic, & it took place in the evening. So this year we decided to go the complete opposite direction and did a daytime themed dessert bar. We wanted to create a chic Valentine’s Day dessert bar that stood out from the norm colors of red, pink and white. Omitting the pink all together and dabbing hints of blue really made the table POP, without it being 4th of July-ish! We kept the desserts light, all the way down to an empty cake yep the cake is fake!
