Pastel Minnie Mouse Bowtique Party Details: This is what Terry said about planning/styling the party- “Earlier this year, my sisters gave Eden a pair of Minnie Mouse ears that were covered with sparkling sequins on the ears and flutteringpastel colored tulle veils. Then a few months later, my daughter Eden told me she wanted a Minnies Bowtique party for her 3rd birthday. Those pastel Minnie Mouse ears were the perfect inspiration for the party, without going the usual route of bright red or candy pink. Inspired by those ears, I went with a color palette of pale pink, pale blue, mint green and lavender. My sister Cindy and I DIYed all of the paper details, including the bow-shaped food labels, the glittery #3 cake topper, birthday banner, sticker labels, bow holders, and tissue covered riser for the snack table. I used tulle to create a backdrop for the dessert display, which featured one of my favorite pieces in my Hunt & Gather décor collection a cream colored vintage desk as well as milk glass pedestals and candy dishes. The birthday cake was an amazing chocolate cake with cream cheese filling by 8&8 Baking Co, who also made the adorable (and delicious!) mouse-shaped macarons. There was also an assortment of yummy cake pops by Marleys Treats and jelly beans and sixlets to complete the display. The backdrop behind the savory snacks featured giant tissue paper bows attached to pretty white ruffles. In addition to freshly popped kettle corn and mouse-shaped chicken nuggets, we had a variety of hot dogs on sticks (i.e. corn dogs), which were in reference to the catchy Hot Dog song that plays at the end of every episode of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. What kind of bowtique party would this be without bows as favors? I packaged pretty little bow hair clips and elastic hair ties for the girls, and dapper bow ties for the boys to pass out as favors. The favors display included a little girls vanity with a mirror for the kids to check themselves out after trying on their new bows! I even had an excuse to go shopping for outfits for the whole family in the party colors! This party was definitely one of my favorite ones to plan”! Love Kara’s Party Ideas?
