This is what Virginie said about styling the party- “One of my daughter Chloe’s favorite characters is Ariel, the Little Mermaid. So it was no surprise when she requested a mermaid party for her 5th Birthday… Since I wasn’t too keen on the idea of a character birthday, we settled on a mermaid theme but with no obvious reference to Ariel. I found the perfect partyware range in a palette of Aqua, Blue and Purple and styled the party around it. I wanted it to look pretty and feminine so I added lots of glittered shells throughout, tulle and a beautiful Ribbon Chandelier (DIY tutorial found here)”.
