Party Like a Narwhal Birthday Party Details:
“This party was a fun mix of a party animal theme with an ocean twist. The birthday girl just loves narwhals, so we decided it was only fitting to ‘party like a narwhal’ to ring in year six! We printed out a 6-ft illustration of a narwhal wearing a cute party hat and holding balloons. This became the centerpiece ‘swimming’ above our dessert table. I also hand-painted swirling waves onto plywood and attached it to the table, which made such a beautiful backdrop for all of our goodies. The gummy kabobs stole the show and I love the color they added to the table. Another element that emphasized the party vibe was the party poppers that the kids showered the birthday girl with after singing happy birthday. They all thought that was SUPER fun! The kids also enjoyed splashing in the pool and playing with sprinkler toys. Then, whenever they needed a break they could add a little color to our huge narwhal mural (which I designed as a huge coloring sheet to give them some direction). Toward the end of the party, each guest visited our Narwhal Adoption agency to select a new friend to bring home with them. They enjoyed filling out the adoption certificate and collar tag and feeding their new pets some narwhal food.
