Beautiful late summer weather meant our generously sized back deck was the perfect spot for the event…it next to the yard and cubby house and ideal for utilising the pool, making the most of the end of season warmth {not to mention a great plan for keeping 6 hyped up children out of the house}. Sharlize loves owls so naturally she decided on a night owl theme. I decided on a bright and fun colour palette of Fushia, orange and tiffany blue, and was really happy with the outcome. We really wanted to bless the girls as it was the first sleep over party any of them had been to, so, they each recieved a special sleepover suitcase filled with goodies including pj’s, toiletries, a diary, pencil, stickers, hair brush and a specially made owl so snuggle up with at bed time. The delight on their faces was priceless when they opened them, like they had opened a box full of treasure.
