This is what Esther said about planning the party- “Having already done a very “boy” first birthday for my first son, I was excited to do a more whimsical party inspired by event stylist, Davina Kim’s work. The main colors we used were navy blue, gold, and green, with a natural yet refined look. Having Davina’s help freed me up to tackle some DIY projects like Drew’s name on the head table, the floral headpiece for the favors, the florals (head table and centerpieces), and some of the desserts. As a mother, a good party is one where the kids are having fun, so the parents can have fun too. So my favorite part was the favor table where the kids could get into character and search for their treasure.
