- This is what Lori shared about the party- “I love summertime parties and love the idea of a nautical theme! Not only because of the often times patriotic colors but the fun shapes and images of the sea! This party had a slightly different twist by focusing on the lobster! A whimsical design in a bright and cheerful summer color! I used pops of red in the details on the food tables including a paper garland, floral accents, tissue poms, and a DIY sugar cookie cake topper! I also served up some summer inspired appetizers in fun grab-and-go containers! Cut out cookies were not the only shaped treats on the table. I used the same cutter to create fun fruit shapes too! And backyard games and s’mores rounded out a fun summer day”!
