Motorcycle Rally Party Details: This is what Paula said about planning the party- “My sons birthday party is my favorite one that I throw all year. Boy parties are challenging. No pink, no fluff, just down and dirty wholesome boy goodness. That can be fun if you let it! After some gentle steering from his father, our kiddo was quite enthusiastic about paying homage to motorcycles. For weeks before (and after!) the party all conversations focused around motorcycles in one way or another. The oil cans were one of my favorite details. Every oil can was a can of tomato I wrapped a specially-designed label around. They were stacked and used as dessert stands. The plastic checkerboard sheeting we taped down also (inexpensively) transformed the entire space and gave us the biker cafe vibe we were going for. A tattoo station, bounce house and “biker burger bar” were huge hits with the young (and old) crowd. The borrowed motorcycle we parked in the middle of the living room was also a big draw. At one point I caught all the fathers standing around eyeballing the motorcycle! Everyone that wanted to climbed on got their picture taken as little biker dudes. Party guests had so many goodies to go home with! I had planned for all the kids to gear up with do-rags, sunglasses and really cool born to be wild t-shirts in a jar, all in individually personalized motorcycle parts containers. All in all, a highly successful party! Brennan had the time of his life and still gets excited to see pictures from his party.
