“Quarantined at home because of the COVID 19 virus has everyone practicing social distance. Which means no parties, no trips and no Disney! What’s a mom to do ? As a event planner, I definitely went into crisis mode to ensure something fun for all. Considering we live on a busy street, a car parade was not in the cards, yet who doesn’t love a challenge and coming up with a creative concept? We opted for a drive-up to our backyard and enjoy the fun. For a few minutes, that is. Before our guests made their rounds, our family had a little photo shoot in the backyard. Then, from inside our bedroom window we watched our nearest and dearest come by to wish our daughter a happy birthday. Confetti and all! The mural was a photo op we all need right now since it was a fun distraction in the midst of this pandemic.
