Mickey Mouse Party Details: This is what Elsa said about staying the party- “Kailene loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. She has been dancing to the Hot Dog Song since she was able to sit up at 5 months. So I knew that her 1st birthday party had to be Mickey Mouse Clubhouse themed and that it had to be bright, vibrant, and fun! I wanted to do the theme in a more subtle way, so instead of having the actual characters, I used colors and symbols that represented each of the Clubhouse friends. The inspiration was actually the “KAILENE” letters with each letter being a character from the show. Each table had 6 breakaway centerpieces, each filled with colored water that represented the main characters (red for Mickey, pink for Minnie, blue for Donald, purple for Daisy, yellow for Pluto, and green for Goofy). Customized labels and desserts also used symbol to represent each of the characters, i.e. bows, hats, ears, etc. The paper rosette backdrop for the dessert table was completely hand made with love and also used colors that represent the characters. And of course, the birthday cake HAD to be of the actual Clubhouse! The kids all got Mickey or Minnie ears along with their Mouseketools, which were customized for each child based on their age. One of my favorite parts of the party was when Kailene dug into her Minnie Mouse smash cake. She LOVED it, and we were able to get some great photos and memories. Guests feasted on tacos from Borracho Tacos and italian ice with frozen custard from Rita’s Italian Ice. Cheesy Photobooth also provided photobooth fun for everyone. It was a fabulous party from conception and planning, to execution. Our family and friends had a great time. But best of all, we think Kailene enjoyed it too!” Mouse-ka-hey!
