Modern Geometric Monster Party This is what Julie said about planning this party- We wanted to do a modern take on a monster party. We came up with a colour scheme inspired by current trends: mint, grey, neon yellow, black & white. On top of that we wanted to use a lot of geometric shapes in the party decor. We made a paper backdrop out of paper hexagons. Had DIY cake toppers with cute black & white monsters and even created a EYE-scream ice cream cart for the kiddies to play with. Monster eats & treats were a selection of finger foods with monster speech bubbles and eye-balls. We created several DIY pieces for the decor as well. A yarn art table runner, and a yarn art wall piece where we hung up pictures throughout the year. It was a first birthday party after all so we wanted to make sure we could have a bit of a flashback to the past 12 months.
