Modern Construction Birthday Party
Modern Construction Party Details:
This is what Juliet shared about the party- “When Elia’s mom came to us she wanted us to help her host a great looking… but still fun for her little man CONSTRUCTION themed party we knew we could deliver! Thats what we do at the COOP — cool, modern looking parties that are still mega fun for the little ones! We stuck with a bright yellow/ orange/ white/ gold and black color scheme – which is pretty standard for a construction party. We did a beautiful gold and white ribbon backdrop with a gold glitter Happy Birthday banner and a string of construction hats as the banner in the main space.
Outdoor Decor
Outdoors we came up with the idea of doing “DIG IN” in balloons above the food table and made a large “digger” from foam that we glittered in gold completely. I LOVE how it turned out. We did our usual BIG balloons — but added a little something extra special with the golden mylar orbs and the marbled latex balloons attached at the bottom – along with the tissue tassels as well. They turned out awesome.
Glitter Details
We also love to place something special on each plate — so we hand glittered some construction trucks and put one on each place setting. Mom was actually a bit concerned about glitter for a boy — but she checked with the birthday boy before the party and he said he LOVED glitter! So – we also did his name in glitter on the main table (we kind of think there is no such thing as too much glitter and luckily Elias concurred!) We wrapped water bottles and flower vases in construction tape and all the little kiddos went home with a construction cone cup, a construction vest for the boys — a yellow tutu for the girls (moms request) and a construction hat.”
