Moby Dick Whale Party Details: This is what Stephanie shared about the party- “Boys are hard. I don’t mean in the “rearing + raising” kind of way (although each gender has its own set of challenges for sure) but in the superficial, fun aspects. Yes, I know, first world problems. And for sure they are. But nonetheless, I am always baffled by the number of dinosaur/shark/cheesy saying shirts out there for boys, while the girl section is full of adorable, on trend outfits. What’s with that? Likewise with parties. I have no shortage of amazing party ideas for my daughter, but when it came to planning Finn’s first birthday party I was drawing blanks. Part of this may have been that I was entirely devastated to see him growing up. It felt so different this time around, I was so so sad. So I procrastinated. Big time. Eventually I landed on our Moby Dick theme, and it was so fun. I ended up DIYing a number of things as there isn’t a lot of “ready made Moby Dick party supplies” out there. But it wasn’t too hard or time consuming and I was super pleased with how it all turned out. Parties don’t need to be stressful or overly expensive.
