MINT AND GOLD PARTY DETAILS:
This is what Sarah said about planning the party- “Beautiful party girl Ebonie requested a soft mint soiree with a little glitter, glamour and a lot of sweet treats! I added the gold for the glamour and a touch of glitter, just because I am loving a little bling at the moment…Mint and Gold are not two colours that are often fused together, but they are truly gorgeous. The white base colour gave it a more fresh and feminine feel. The style of this minty minty party was very girly with a little modern twist including chevron, gold glitter and pretty DIY details. I brought in the white base colour in both the backdrop and the table cloth, using a rouged material to soften the feel. It was a dark room to work with, so the white also helped lift and brighten the table. Something else to help brighten the table was a new favourite item – gold spray paint! I absolutely loved myself sick with that little can, I was spraying everything, even my front lawn, to the point my husband nearly confiscated it!!! The sweets were dripping in gold too, but without compromising on taste. It was a sensory overload and oh so sweet – mint cupcakes with hand painted gold leaves, mint & white chocolate mousse, white cupcakes with hand painted gold chevron, mint lamingtons, mint choc coated oreos, mint coconut ice, vanilla cheesecake with gold glitter dust, gold sixlets and loads of other goodies.”
