This is what Merlyn shared about the party- “The theme came about as the birthday girl wanted a party with Minnie mouse, butterflies and flowers so naturally the easiest thing was to create a butterfly garden inspired by Minnie Mouse. This was such a fun theme to design. I was inspired by the Cardtopia Company’s butterfly tree on one of her invitation designs and asked her to re-create the butterfly tree in the shape of the Minnie Mouse head. I was then able to work with other vendors and carry the Minnie Mouse inspired butterfly tree throughout the party. You’ll see it in lollipops, balloons, and more. Two activities that were a HUGE hits among the kids were the Minnie Mouse inspired hopscotch and the paint your own cookies. These were very popular especially with the cookies- they had a chance to paint first and eat after. But my ultimate favorite part is the ceiling of the kid’s table. Even the birthday girl said she felt like she was in a real butterfly garden”.
