Kristina said this about the party – “Mmm, Milk and Donuts! My youngest was turning 2 and he loves breakfast so I thought what a fun idea to have a breakfast party! I wanted the party to feel like a donut shop or café so I used lots of chalkboard details from the menu cards to the large chalk menu as the backdrop! I used a simple light blue and chocolate brown color scheme along with a little burlap! Lauren Haddox Designs made an adorable chalk style poster that is a great memory for us to look back on his favorites as he gets older! Most of the party guests were under 4 so we had lots of donut holes! I made some into donut pops with extra chocolate and sprinkles! We had all the flavors of milk, even almond for our non-dairy little ones! Kids enjoyed the donuts along with fruit and juice too! I also served bagels and coffee for the adults. One of my favorites was the cereal in a waffle bowl! The kids loved it and the bowl was a perfect portion for the little ones! The fant astic cookies were a big hit! For favors I sent them in a pastry tie bag along with the book If You Give a Dog a Donut!
