This is what Lynda said about decorating and styling the party- “This year was the year of travel having recently returned from the Middle East. This was the inspiration for our birthday so we took a step back in time to celebrate all things Middle Eastern. This was also a fun way to introduce our little girl to her heritage. It was important that the party was tastefully cultured using traditional colours, dress and icons. My mother and I did all of the photography and styling and made the popular Middle Eastern date drink, and the girl fez hats for the table. The super talented Vas from Frosted Indulgence created the amazing cake/cupcakes featuring the fez hat, traditional wooden Oud guitar and Mays name in native Arabic . The cake/cupcakes were so perfect and looked too good to be eaten. We teamed up with Elaine from LouLoue Pie for the cute printables and Hannah from DD Brand for the exotic garland.
