Marie Antoinette Inspired Bridal Shower
Marie Antoinette Bridal Shower Details:
This is what Melina shared about the event- “For this bridal shower I was inspired by the famous Marie Antoinette, she was basically a teen rock star when she was a Queen! This bridal shower was captured beautifully by photographer Malke from Detalles By M. Marie Antoinette’s “Let them eat cake” quote was the glittering highlight of the dessert bar backdrop. We went with a soft periwinkle backdrop then by hand sketched the quote before it was filled in with sparkling gold glitter. To modernize this theme a bit we added drip cakes versus vintage styled cakes. These gorgeous cakes gave the whole table a modern twist! Additionally on the dessert bar we had hand painted sugar cookies as well as cotton candy topped cupcakes. It may not look like it but those cupcakes were purchased at a local grocery store bakery! To jazz them up we added fluffy pink cotton candy layered with a white sugar rose.
Floral Table Elements
Instead of putting the paper flowers on a backdrop we changed things up by placing them along the bottom of the table for a whimsical feel. Esmeralda made the most incredible paper flowers! Each one was so unique that it brighten up any area they were placed in. On the guest table was a crepe flower centerpiece by Donna of Paper Ave. The crepe paper flowers added a soft feminine touch. Each flower had so much detail! Donna beautifully paired her flowers with real eucalyptus leaves. The bride to be & her guests looked fabulous thanks to MUA Glam Doo! Each guest was given a custom made set of hair ties made by Plum Polka Dot, Christina was able to have them match the brides party!” More eye candy here: Sparkly 30th Birthday Bash Elegant Botanical Garden Brunch Love Kara’s Party Ideas?
