This is what Tisha shared about the party- “When your parent’s are from NOLA, you better believe your first birthday celebration is going to be filled with family, food, fun, and frills. So when Cameron turned one, his parents didn’t think twice about showing him the New Orleans way even though their new home was in Texas. Location doesn’t matter here! Guests were served an authentic lunch. It included red beans and rice, chicken & sausage jambalaya, corn & crab bisque and spinach dip. Aunt Sally’s Pralines, Roman Candy, King’s Cake were shipped in directly from the Big Easy to satisfy the nostalgic sweet tooth of Cam’s guests. Sweet tooth satisfied. Everyone was happy!

But we didn’t stop there! A dessert table surrounded by a 20ft Mardi Gras balloon garland and topped with cookies, cakes, and other gorgeous goodies were laid out for Cameron’s Krewe. Jazz musician inspired cookies “marched” around Cam’s gorgeous topsy curvy cake and two miniature gators decked out in doubloons and beads were sitting pretty and ready to party. Decorations desires satisfied! Jazz music desires satisfied too! Favors included giant photo mardi gras beads and photos taken from a photo booth. I had so much fun partying with Cameron and his Krewe and can’t wait to see what mommy has in store for this next birthday party. Laissez les bon temps rouler (Let the good times roll)!”
