This is what Melissa said about planning/styling the party- “Working in the industry I have a great circle of talented people around me to help bring my vision to life, for this event I worked with Ania from 2 Love Birds to design a printable set that was bright and fun. Ania designed them to be abstract and geometric, to achieve a look of pool or ocean water sparkling and changing colours on a sunny summers day, which was perfect for the theme. I then decided to add a wave style cake to add a contrast to the printable’s allowing it to stand out on it’s own and not get lost in the backdrop. Fitting with Summer, Xavier loves citrus fruits, so my lovely friend Leoni from Just call me Martha mad the cake flavoured Orange butter cake with orange zest butter cream filling, Lemon cupcakes and then for the sweet tooth’s chocolate Oreo cake pops. They were all delicious and a hit with the kids!
