This is what Ashley said about planning/styling the party- “We chose a lumberjack theme for this special two year old’s birthday party because who doesn’t love to wear flannel in the Winter? Nothing goes better with Flannel and cold weather than Flapjacks so we decided on a brunch menu complete with flap jacks, bacon, muffins, fruit, quiche, and you can’t forget donuts! We paired our food with your typical brunch beverages- apple & orange juice, and of course coffee for the adults! If the kids didn’t have enough sugar already there were TWO adorable cakes made to look like a stump and a birch log- they were so perfect for our theme! The biggest tip I can give when throwing this party is to buy pre-made pancakes- it was a life saver. You can get them at any grocery store and worth every penny to not have to sit over a hot stove all day while the guests wait for them to be ready. Plus, they were delicious! You would have never known they were pre-made. This party was a hit from the food, the DIY photo booth, creating your own birthday hat, and the decor- everyone had a great time! We were #soplaid everyone could come!”
