Owl Party Details:This is what Kara Abrahamsen said about planning the party- “Party Theme When my cousin in law, Lauren, contacted me to help her with this Look Whoos ONE theme; I was ecstatic!! I have always loved owl! I LOVE the use of bright colors, and of course, the cute little owls throughout the party. Party Details I have NEVER seen so many one year olds at a birthday party before? There were 13 little ones walking and crawling around!! The momma did a great job of planning activities and keeping everyone entertained. They did some play time in the living room and then all of the little ones went outside to play on a bounce house obstacle course designed for toddlers; it was perfect! As the guest left they were given favor boxes full of cute hair bows and toys perfect for ONE year olds! Party Decorations My favorite decoration of the entire party was the adorable oversized frame that I rented from Past Forward photo prop rentals! I put an adorable picture of the birthday girl in the frame and placed it in the entry way. Seating Table I hung several different tissue poms and paper lanterns from the light fixture in order to create the beautiful chandelier. I used fishing line and just kept tying at different heights until it was full! I purchased the paper lanterns from Hobby Lobby and made the Tissue Poms! I used Tulle purchased by the yard to tie around the kitchen table chairs. I used glass apothecary and dome jars for the centerpiece of the seating table. I filled the apothecary jar with blue mints layering them to make an ombre effect. I filled clear cello bags with sixlets and attached a thank you tag with bakers twine to put inside of the dome jars. The vase filled centerpieces were an easy and adorable touch to the seating table! I purchased the clear vases at the Dollar Tree. I then filled them with shredded paper, wrapped with ribbon, and added a party logo to the center. I cut out an owl and a party circle and attached them to painted dowel rods. I embellished with a few rhinestones and a feathe r! Dessert Table I made a fabric strip banner for the front of the console table. I used blue scrunch fabric from Walmart for the table runner. I painted unfinished wood frames from Michaels, and taped the posters to the back to create the backdrop frames. I used various candlestick holders and placed plaques and plates on top to create the dessert stands. The owls were a white ceramic that I painted pink and added rhinestones for the eyes. These were also purchased from Michaels. Party Sweets The cake was made by Blue Bake Cakes! The AMAZING cookies were made by my best friend Alyssa from Bon Bon DuJour. She did a simply stunning job on them?! The fondant cupcake toppers were made by Fondant Fantasy on Etsy. The delicious oreo pops were made by my friend Lauren. The oreo pops are always the favorite sweet at any party I host”. Items and supplies used in this Owl Party available in Kara’s Party Ideas Shop:
