Little Birdie Garden Party Details:This is what Carole & Gerri said about planing the party- “We wanted to create a beautiful display that would channel the central vibe of our boutique event styling business a bit of vintage chic charm, with an element of simplistic elegance, and celebrating one of our favourite colours, periwinkle blue. Our aim was for our display dessert table to be transferrable to a wide range of potential events, including a wedding, engagement, bridal shower, baby shower, Christening, or an adult or childs birthday. Backdrop An important part of the display, and one that created most of the impact was the gorgeous backdrop. Li-Ann from Ham&Pea Design&Paperie created the image based on a specific vision we had in our collective Little Birdie minds we were so delighted with the result! Sweets Jen from A Little Slice of Heaven created the most beautiful decorated vanilla bean biscuits based on our logo design (by Sarah Thompson Style Me Gorgeous). We asked her to make some birds based on the design of our logo, which we hung with nylon fishing wire in a birdcage. She also created a design incorporating the heart from our logo. Jen also made blue and white coconut ice, and vanilla bean cupcakes topped with pretty, delicate, blue hydrangea-esque flowers. Trish from Marche du Macaron made the delicious salted caramel macarons (our favourite flavour!) with a lilac-coloured filling, and adorned with fresh baby violets. Jocelyns Provisions made shortbread hearts sandwiched with passionfruit icing especially for the table, and scrumptious nougat. Coby from Taart made the white chocolate tarts, white chocolate pretzels, coconut stacks, and Baileys and white chocolate Opera slice. Gold sixlets were placed in mini glass jars topped with fluffy white poms made by Samantha Dunne With Style. Samantha also made the cute little white poms hanging in the birdcage, and the amazing white crepe paper roses. Fruity water accompanied decorated mini glass bottles, which coordinated with other décor part of the tablescape, with special use of blue grosgrain ribbon and stark white paper. Details, stationery, and styling We designed the simple stationery suite, inspired by the blue grosgrain ribbon and gold accents. Delightful little favour bags were presented with a Thank You tag, blue grosgrain ribbon, and itty bitty pegs. To continue the garden vibe, our white wooden trestle table rested on faux grass, and was accompanied by sweet white wooden fold-out chairs, and our gold garden gnome.” Items and supplies used in this Little Birdie Garden Party available in Kara’s Party Ideas Shop:
