This is what Kaycee shared about the party- “”Everyone says my son, Knix is an old soul. He’s just like a sweet little old man, so for his first birthday we decided to run with this theme! “Knix is Getting Old” Honestly is there anything cuter than babies dressed like old people?! I got most of my decor from Goodwill, and brainstormed all of the “old person” things I could think of! The tables had brown and plaid tablecloths, with white carnation flowers, and small bowls of prunes, mixed nuts, and Werther’s candies as centerpieces. I also set out some crosswords, Dominoes, puzzles, and Scrabble for guests to play with! We catered in Cracker Barrel, and I hung some hilarious old photos on the walls. We asked people to come dressed up as an old person, and it was hilarious to see how everyone transformed! One year olds don’t really know what’s going on at their first birthday, so it was a lot of fun for the older kids and adults to enjoy as well!
