I’m so excited to be partnering with OREO and Fanta this month! Today I’m sharing a great halloween party dessert idea using OREO cookies — KITTY CAT HALLOWEEN CUPCAKES! These kitty cat halloween cupcakes are super easy to make, and would be the purrr-fect party treat for your upcoming halloween celebration or your child’s classroom halloween party! Halloween is all about having a little fun, and Fanta and OREO can be an exciting and integral part of your Halloween festivities!
DIY Kitty Cat Halloween Cupcakes Recipe and Tutorial
Items needed: OREO cookies Chocolate frosted cupcakes Black licorice strings Pink candies (Don’t you just love a tutorial with a short item list like this?!)
Step 1: separate two OREO cookies as shown above. Step 2: Place OREO cookie halves onto cupcake as shown below (for cat cheeks).
Step 3: Using a sharp knife, carefully cut remaining OREO cookie halves to resemble triangles (as shown above).
Step 4: Cut licorice string into six one-inch segments. Step 5: Push cut licorice segments into OREO cookie halves to resemble kitty whiskers. Step 6: insert pink candy into frosting to resemble nose. Step 7: Attach OREO cookie triangles to the top of the cupcake with frosting.
And, bada-bling! You have an easy, and completely adorable DIY Halloween treat! As you can see, these Halloween cupcakes are perfectly paired with a bubbly Fanta soda.
